POINTE DU HOC FOUNDATION
Who We Are
The Pointe du Hoc Foundation (PDHF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established to recognize and commemorate the Rangers of 2d Battalion and their families. The historic missions of 2d Ranger Battalion are legendary; from scaling the cliffs at Pointe du Hoc Normandy on D-Day, 1944, to forced entry airborne operations in Grenada and Panama in the 1980s, and more. Since September 11, 2001, 2d Battalion Rangers have remained a pivotal force in the War on Terrorism, enduring 17 combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.
PDHF will honor the courage, fortitude and selfless sacrifices of 2d Battalion Rangers and their families who have served in the unit from WWII to the present.
PDHF will memorialize 2d Battalion Rangers, of all eras, by sustaining the
2d Ranger Battalion Memorial Park built in tribute to the fallen; and provide benevolent support through educational funding, life skills development, counseling, and employment assistance for 2d Ranger Battalion families in need.
PDHF is a non-federal entity. It has no governmental status and is not a part of, or officially endorsed by the Department of Defense or 75th Ranger Regiment.
